Stability isn't really a concern if the maker is willing to splice and rerun generations until they get what they want. Remember, if still images are fooling people, videos can do exactly the same with more time investment and attention to detail. Some dumbass making a free 5s shitpost on twitter might not care, but a tyrannical political power is apt to and they've probably got access to better models than the general public does, anyway.

I've been watching oil prices like a hawk this past week and I'm not convinced at all at todays reversal. It seems like nothing has really changed and people are just buying time and hoping something happens before we actually do have $150-200 oil if/when those released reserves run dry. Trump can't really taco this time, his call for allies to help is so far met with a bunch of nos, and Iran does seem more than willing to just blow up other oil related things if people touch theirs. A few ships going through don't seem to mean much when it was 100-150 ships a day.
