He's always had the cult, it's just way more obvious now that it's in the global spotlight outside of syndicated television and the National Enquirer.

Part of his dilemma is that he put the original cult in all the power positions and then it became pretty obvious they can't do the job, so the next plan was to put ****visibly**** loyal but supposedly competent politicians in those roles to replace the cronies. And then lo and behold, those guys (mostly) realize how much of a shit show this is and either ask out or fall out of favor with the Don and get forced out regardless.

At least three children who were held in detention centers after crossing into the U.S. from Mexico have died in recent months, in part, from the flu, according to a letter to Reps. Rosa DeLauro, D-Conn., and Lucille Roybal-Allard, D-Calif., from several doctors urging Congress to investigate health conditions at the centers.

The United States had previously gone almost a decade without any children dying while under U.S. immigration custody.
