I couldn't see the article at work but apparently Lewandowski admitted Trump asked him to interfere in the Mueller investigation?

Fox ran a report saying that the deal for the Air Force to refuel at Trump's Scotland property dates back to the Obama administration and like a day later Politico, Vox, the Hill, and some others all reported that under Trump the Air Force guys have suddenly extended their stays and are staying in luxury accommodations for days at a time instead of just refueling.

President Trump told his staff that the nation’s leading weather forecasting agency needed to correct a statement that contradicted a tweet the president had sent wrongly claiming that Hurricane Dorian threatened Alabama, senior administration officials said.
That led White House acting chief of staff Mick Mulvaney to call Commerce Secretary Wilbur Ross to tell him to fix the issue, according to the officials, who spoke on the condition of anonymity because they were not authorized to talk publicly about the issue. Trump had complained for several days that forecasters from the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration contradicted his Sept. 1 Alabama tweet, the officials said.
Mulvaney then called Ross, who was traveling in Greece, and told him that the agency needed to fix things immediately, the officials said. Mulvaney did not instruct Ross to threaten any firings or offer punitive actions. But Ross then called NOAA acting administrator Neil Jacobs, the officials said. That led to an unusual, unsigned statement from NOAA released on Sept. 6 that backed Trump’s false claim about Alabama and admonished the National Weather Service’s Birmingham, Ala., division for speaking “in absolute terms” that there would not be “any” impacts from Dorian in the state. The Weather Service is an arm of NOAA, which is an agency within the Commerce Department. The New York Times first reported some elements of the White House involvement.

Trump names Robert O'Brien to replace Bolton.
Mr O'Brien was involved with the release of US rapper ASAP Rocky from Swedish detention last month.
No one is willing to show him the reports that mass transit investment create more JOBS JOBS JOBS than increasing automobile manufacturing. Pathetic administration and pathetic transportation goals.
Excited for CA to say "no fuck you" and drag this through the courts for years while he throws a hissy fit.
Honest question to Zealot or whoever:
If CA just goes "no" what actual recourse does anyone have? Do they have annual stickers the way MA does (LA doesn't I know from living there, in MA you have to pass yearly emissions and standards test to be road legal in MA)? What actually prevents CA from making their "road legal" emissions level within the state above the Trump limit and just starting to hand out citations like candy?

So in this particular instance California was able to set their standards higher than the federal ones because they'd obtained a waiver under the Obama administration to do so. Trump is revoking that waiver, which it's not entirely clear he can do, so California's first step is to litigate that question and not change anything for so long as it's in court.

From a supremacy standpoint, did California ever need a waiver? It's not unconstitutional for a state to more strictly regulate a business than the federal government.
This is kinda my second question.
Like okay let's say CA can't set their own manufacturing emissions regulations. Is there actually anything that can stop them from jacking their "road legal" emission regulations through the roof?
My intuition says "no" as road legal emissions regulations are state-by-state and many (most?) don't have them or enforce them.

Can be fined and your insurance fucked at the very least.
Expired inspection tickets, while seemingly harmless slips of the mind, can unfortunately have deeper consequences for the recipient than their face charge alone and can cost you much more than you would expect, over many years. More specifically, expired inspection citations in Massachusetts will add surchargeable points to your insurance premium and will count as a surchargeable event for license suspension/revocation purposes. Even though the driver has not actively committed a violation on the road, in Massachusetts, receiving a ticket for an expired vehicle inspection sticker is, for auto insurance point purposes, equivalent to a moving violation.
