Nah fuck that. He was being willfully obtuse and pedantic. "Trump only said millions not 11 million!" Ok cool he's still emboldening these para military white supremacists to go after and round up brown people around the country. And while Trump's numbers haven't hit Obama's the conditions and depravity in which these people are now being kept in has worsened daily but it's ok! Because he's just pandering to his base, a base that has been shown to be EASILY swayed to violence and abuse against people Trump has othered. And besides no one complained when Obama deported people, even though that was shown to be true as well as the comparison of the conditions these people were left in. Not to mention the whole song and dance of lies and smoke show regarding the conditions these people have been kept in. He started off this entire entire diatribe with "if you don't understand the deportation process then don't give your 2 cents." And then back tracks with Archie that he doesn't know what's going on. He doesn't need defending or deserve it. He needs to log off and take a nap.

Punk harps on one inane thing and misses the forest for the trees. He's pretty terrible in that he doesn't provide evidence supporting his positions yet takes up pages upon pages with his technicalities and lacks the ability to understand nuance or infer from current conversations....

Yeah, his one point is fine, the problem is that literally no one cared about that one point, and he ignores anything that isn't that one single point. Like, I told him no one gave a shit about one random tweet some dude made, and he responded telling me to look more into the tweet. Going back to Japanese internment is almost superfluous at this point; U.S. policy for decades has involved running extra-judicial detention centers where people can be held without any oversight or accountability for their well-being, or documentation of who is where and why. The concentration camps on the border are simply an escalation of that.

Trump threatened a TIME magazine photographer that he would send them to prison for taking a photo of a letter by Kim Jong-un while Trump was showing it to a TIME interviewer.

The interview took place in the White House Oval Office on Monday, two days before Mr Trump travelled to Florida to formally launch his 2020 re-election campaign.

At several points during the interview, Mr Trump asked to speak off-the-record, including in the moments after showing the Time reporters a letter he said was from the leader of North Korea.

"Here's a letter, OK, now I'm going to show you this letter," said the Republican president.

"So this was written by Kim Jong-un. It was delivered to me yesterday. By hand."

As the conversation turned to his potential Democratic challengers in next year's election, White House press secretary Sarah Sanders told the journalists: "You can't take a picture of that, sorry."

The reporter reminds Mr Trump that some of his aides had "testified under oath, under threat of prison time" that the president had tried to influence the investigation by special counsel Robert Mueller.

Mr Trump snaps back: "Excuse me... Well, you can go to prison instead, because if you use, if you use the photograph you took of the letter that I gave you confidentially.

"I didn't give it to you to take photographs of it - So don't play that game with me."

The journalist from Time responds: "I'm sorry, Mr President. Were you threatening me with prison time?"

Mr Trump replies: "Well, I told you the following. I told you you can look at this off the record. That doesn't mean you take out your camera and start taking pictures of it. OK?"

"So I hope you don't have a picture of it."

"I know you were very quick to pull it out - even you were surprised to see that."

"You can't do that stuff. So go have fun with your story. Because I'm sure it will be the 28th horrible story I have in Time magazine."
