This kind of reminds me of what happened to me about a decade ago. Long story short, when I was about 14-15 my parents divorced and my mom ended up with a lot of debt (dad just ran off to another country, and naturally everything was in her name), talking about cool half mil in debt, state and fed taxes too. We had about fifty bucks in the accounts at the time. Anyway, 2 years later both of us working multiple jobs to pay lawyers she got that shit handled with bankcruptcy, taxes too, I dont even know how tbh, some kind of hardship thing. Skip to about 5 years ago I get a call out of the blue saying *I own some back taxes. Turns out this new england state we used to live in sold their unpaid tax records to a collection agency "lol?" and they were trying to collect from me.

Anyway, I called up my lawyer and the dude straight up said "Ignore them, it's toothless and unenforceable and let me know if anything shows up on your credit we'll sue them into oblivion"

Kind similar situation with Don and the desperate democrats trying to obstruct corruption investigation.

That kind of reminds me of this one time where I told a completely unrelated story that had nothing to do with the situation at hand and it made me look like a complete tool.

This is funny because my mom is a atheist and liberal, I mean she's no commie so by today's standards she might as well be lady Hitler.

Oh reminds me of another story, you guys talking about hand outs. So Dad absconds with everything and leaves her and 2 kids in heavy debt and penniless. Car repossessed, house foreclosed etc, barely speaks English and can only work menial labor jobs. She desperate and stressed out, decides to go get government aid. But because she's soviet, lol, she dresses up all fancy to go see the bureaucrats, right? Because that's what you did obviously lol. Anyway, when she comes home I ask how it went and she's all mad that they didn't believe her that she needed help and says but it's fine we don't need them anyway, we've been through worse. (fuck, we have?) Years later I ask her about that day, I was older and realized some food stamps would have really helped at the time. She told me no it's true, they really didn't believe her but she was secretly glad because there were a lot of pathetic people in there and she didn't want to be anything like them.

True story. Personally I think she never went through with it, but who knows? She did wear jewelry and fancy clothes.

There's no requirement for a floor vote for the House to perform oversight of the Executive, including investigations, including investigations that could culminate in a vote on impeachment.

It's not like the White House is cooperating with the non-impeachment-related investigations either.
