That's not what happened but ok. Bits of it are true but overall it's incorrect. You went on a if I were the family bit there and then talking about how political cartoons shouldn't be political.

there's no reasonable reason given in the original post
we're struggling to see how the families of the politically slain will feel wronged by critique of some of the policies that led to their demise, something you now acknowledge hasn't happened
one could state one could make an argument and then actually make an argument or one could say one could make an argument and then fail to make one (and then cry foul after people don't take it as a point well made..)
I don't even know how any of this is a reason to fire the guy.
If you are going off the idea that the cartoon "MIGHT" be insensitive to the family, than the one I posted "MIGHT" also be insensitive to the family.
But you yourself said this was about the families interpretation, not you. And when you get wishy washy with the word "might" then you have no argument. Just because you don't find the other one insensitive doesn't mean the other families "might" not find it insensitive.
Political cartoons are there to push the buttons on political statements. All the good ones "might" be insensitive to someone. Your argument is terrible.
Also, completely lol @ finding a cartoon full of shot kids "wholesome." What is this life.
I'm glad I'm not the one engaging in this shit this time lol. If this is how yall feel when it happens then I'm sorry, I'll never participate in it again.

Yeah I was throwing shade at the idea of me proving that the first cartoon posted was insensitive by the families of the victims by using your words against you.
I'm not going to keep arguing my opinion. I already said I think it's thought provoking and a good cartoon, something the brigade is preferring to ignore. Just not remotely surprised the company fired him
