The discussion was the number of people deported, via some random dude on Twitter. Please stop moving the goal posts.
Trump has been all talk so far when claiming he is deporting millions.

Yeah, maybe 20posts ago. But then people were talking about asylum seekers and you're still peddling your "Obama did worse!" narrative even though he didn't, and that doesn't matter because Obama is not currently in charge of how we handle asylum seekers.

So asylum seekers I did reply on. People who were denied asylum and denied their appeal or didn't show up to court are the ones being deported.
That means a judge somewhere decides that for some reason they did not deserve asylum. According to the statistics posted by Homeland security that is generally because 50% of them have a criminal record. To which you replied "lol ok", as in you have nothing to refute anything other than what Trump is saying he is going to do (but hasn't and has been saying so for 3 years) and opinion pieces
My response was in response to "Obama did the same" thread and a direct quote from you saying that asylum seekers aren't being deported, as though that makes their detainment and concentration within camps any better.
So yea, while millions haven't been deported... thousands have been detained and children are dying in captivity within our borders.
What does deportation rate or prevalence have to do with it?
It's just a separate conversation from the one I'm commenting on. Still didn't say anything about dead kids or families being separated
Bruh the point is you used Obama's deportation numbers to insinuate that both he and Trump are the same in regards to immigration at our southern border, or if anything that Obama was less kind in that regard. Clearly that is not the case. While his numbers may be higher, he specifically prioritized criminals for deportation, and made sure people like asylum seekers were treated with dignity with programs like catch and release.
If you want to argue that Obama deported more people, then have fun cause no one is disagreeing. What people actually care about ia treating these humans as humans, and not subhuman by separating families, letting toddlers die in state care, separating a child and then deporting the parent, etc etc.

Yes, you talked about the numbers to people talking about things that arent the numbers. And then you doubled down on it like that was what we were still talking about.

?
Go back and read how the discussion was started. Jesus dude, you call me dense lol. It was a tweet about Trump saying he is going to deport 11 million immigrants o
How you gonna allude to my post, calling you dense, and then not reread it to see that its repeating the exact same thing I just told you lmao
Cmon man, like I get it were all talking past each other but when someone calls that out generally speaking everyone at least tries to get on the same page.

TIL 1.5x is almost 2x
You guys are arguing with the same guy who took my winter warning when I should have said winter like weather and argued that for 3 pages, then claimed Colorado doesn't count because of the altitude....... Next week it's going to be something else he's going to get himself in a tizzy about. Second verse, same as the first with him.
Yeah, sorry for discussing what was brought up instead of talking about the difference in Trump and Obama's immigration policies. The dude posted a tweet talking about Trump pandering saying he's gonna deport 11m. Has nothing to do with kids dying at the border.
The hilarity of getting some justification.
You guys are arguing that 2+2 = 5 while the subject being discussed is if the sky is blue.
He doesn't need to mention kids. It's straight up 11 million people. That INCLUDES KIDS without even having to say it. And there already is proof he's separating kids from their families as has been established for months now. Your arms have to be jacked by now from all the goal post moving you do.
I realize you're just jumping into the conversation and not reading anything that was discussed. My perspective coming from this is that Trump has deported less than the president's before him and will go nowhere near 11m people and it's just pandering to his base. If you want to see how many he's actually deported go back a few pages. I also asked if anyone had any links where he deported someone that wasn't at final deportation status, but no one procured any.
You guys just don't get it punk is a fine intellectual who only cares about the facts... that he chooses to acknowledge.
It would be a mistake to think Trump used the number 11 million accidentally or hyperbolically.
