Unfortunate if true, could just be saving faace tho
Mike said it fairly well.
"My first reaction is to mock her but the more I think about it my cynicism in the face of optimistic if naive 'love' feels complicit in perpetuating whatever the fuck we're dealing with right now."
Though I did smile at some of the contact high-type comments.
Think you called it. If he tried to talk, he did it with his hands by his side and not moving his mouth. After you and I went back and forth I really did try and see if hes at least looking around, trying to raise his hand and get a word in edge wise. He just stood there, polite, quiet, and timid. Everyone else at least had the body language that they were trying to speak up out of turn, as he claims he tried to do, so either hes lying or hes just a mousey talker.

if you get into stereotypes, asians culturally probably aren't the most well suited for this style of debating
I mean it's not really a debate. Maybe a debate for idiots but it's just whoever can scream the loudest. The format for all this shit is horrible
it's less a debate and more a competition of who can most repeatedly speak over and cut off other candidates and the moderators saying whatever stump shit you've conjured regardless of the original question or topic
i find them extremely hard to watch and have to find reasons to laugh or ridicule just to keep it on for more than a few minutes
The majority of them are saying the same thing. Just trying to see who can say it first and more eloquently and get a few zingers in. I wouldn't call that a debate. Any of the issues they disagree on the moderators squash pretty quick.
It does go to show how adept Trump is to the stage though. Trump was new to politics too, but he was nowhere as timid as Yang on the stage.

please save us Queen Elizabeth
The point of this debate is to get your message through and the case for why people should vote for you.
If you're literally speaking 75% fewer words than the other people on stage, thats fewer opportunities to get your vision across to America, and more time for your competitor to convince them instead.

more words don't mean shit if you are talking in circles and nonsense like some of them were (biden)
