i got pretty burnt out taking a little break to play some stuff from the steam sale, i think some others may have hopped to XIV for some gay thing that released over there

man my lil shihtzu has this condition called relative dry eye and it's worn a spot on her cornea away, have to give her drops/ointment in her tiny little eye like 8 times a day now and oral antibiotics and pain meds and it is breaking my heart seeing her wince that eye all day how in the FUCK do you people have children, i would be on so many medications

I was relatively healthy growing up. My brother had to get surgery done once for his pancreas, but otherwise there wasn't anything that was too terrible.

Pets end up just like kids. They're family. It makes sense that it bothers you so much. My friend's dog was hit by a car and killed a month or so ago. I kept thinking of how distraught I'd be if one of my dogs were killed. He was young too, like 2-3 years old maybe.

The two dogs were in his in-laws garage and they somehow managed to chew the rubber seal at the bottom, pry their noses under, and push the garage door up. They went out across the road when the driver was looking at a deer in a yard and pointing it out to their kid when she hit the dog.

I can;t imagine how that kid must feel too, seeing a dog get hit and killed by the car.

apparently its some thing mainly only that breed gets where they still produce plenty of tears but they are lacking some shit in them that makes them stick to the eye, fuckin weird

already had surgery like 5 years ago because again, something pretty specific to her breed, she had hairs growing under her eyelids that caused a similar ulcer on her cornea

but yeah our dogs are like our kids, i know parents love to hear that comparison lol, but idk if I will ever get another pet after these two pass, it's too much on my fragile heart

First real commute to office from new apt. Decided to walk all the way instead of like 10-15 min to bus directly to front door of office. Like 2.3 miles in the sun so at least I'm doing SOMETHING now and getting some sun.

Nice!! Keep it up! I started walking a mile every day in hopes I can move that up to yogging at some point. Also down 12lbs since April. Feelsgoodman.
