Excuse me? Have you not seen how many women want all of BTS to run through them and leave them as a single mom?

I know BTS is K-pop but we were speaking about Asian men in the beginning.

None of my female white friends, even those into Asian cultures, covet Asian boy bands the same way I have had white male friends into female J-POP idols and K-Pop stars.

In my experience it's the Asian girls that are into Asian boy bands but everyone is into Asian girls.

Like I'm sure they exist but I think it's much less common than the other way around.

I find a lot of the Asian girls my white friends find attractive to be more average than they think. I think K-Pop and J-Pop stars are gorgeous but everyday girls they rate as 9s are 8s or 7.5s at best to me.

I find myself thinking that a southeast Asian or black woman is attractive less frequently than I do with other races.

I can't speculate on whether or not it's because of absorbed subconscious media conditioning. I mean I do believe that this happens and I do think it happens to Asian men (see "Why not John Cho?" and Always Be My Maybe having to reclaim Keanu as Asian)

I did not grow up seeing a lot of females of non-white descent on TV in general. I want to say I was exposed to the same amount of Asian and Latinas on TV as black and SEA women. Honestly with sitcoms in the 90s I probably saw a lot more black girls than any other minority.

Recently I can tell you that I have consumed media featuring attractive black and Indian women who are supposed to be considered attractive in the media and I do find them attractive.

Megan Markle on Suits, Naomi Scott in Aladdin and Power Rangers. Going back to my childhood I can tell you that I thought Neela and Jeanie on ER were attractive.

I mean the show handled it as well as it could have, but just like when an actor dies/gets fired/metoo'd it was obviously not ideal having to write her off when she had to leave the show because of the wedding.
