I played golf in high school. I was so bad that when we’d have matches against other schools I’d always go last and the judges would leave me behind to catch up with the leading scorers and left me to score myself on the honor system. I cheated like a mofo and still came in last lmao

kek I did this in middle school golf too, they finally started making parents go with us because we were producing unbelievable scores when we were alone

my apartment in grad school was literally right next to a golf course and it was super, super tempting.

It just is one of those things. It takes a lot of time, especially if you want to be good. If I wanted to play like I used to it'd have to be literally my only hobby and be all of my free time. I can't do that. Given that, I also don't think I can play if I'm not able to play at the level I used to. I'm really competitive, even with myself. I don't think it would be fun for me to suck at golf.
