i'd actually need to think about it but would prolly go with Ocarina or Wind Waker, or BotW.

This boss alone shits on any memorable moment I had with BotW.

Actually, now that I think about the most memorable moment I had with BotW was getting lightning struck in the middle of doing something before I realized that was a thing. That shit had me laughing for a good ten minutes.

I can barely remember the different versions of the same boss in the divine beast dungeons.

Not to mention those dungeons just sucked ass in general. The flight one I accidentally cheesed through like 75% of it on my first try.

Felt like the 120 mini shrines were a slapped on afterthought in development when an intern pointed out there wasn't shit to do in the game after four generic ass dungeons/bosses.

I think open world games as a whole skew towards getting very repetitive because many times you are just replacing grinding levels and gear drops with grinding side quests and token "exploration" hunting map objectives.

I definitely would have taken less shrines and other subquests to have just 2-4 meatier dungeons to explore besides the Divine Beasts (which felt short comparative to historical Zelda temples). The Shrine puzzles are supposed to replace the lengthier dungeon/temple puzzles but they are so short combined with the hassle of finding them that it feels so grindy to do. Also throw in some unique sub-boss fights in the vein of the Divine Beast fights. Maybe something guarding Hyrule castle or bosses guarding the Springs of Power/Wisdom/Courage. Could have done something more interesting with the Dragons as well.

I played the hell out of LTTP, Ocarina, and MM back in the day but I’ve really dropped off a cliff on my Zelda fandom. I played Wind Waker and it was good except for the Triforce grinding at the end. I played most of Twilight Princess but never finished it because college shenanigans and FFXI took my priority then. Never touched Skyward Sword or Breath Of The Wild. Maybe one day if I ever buy a Switch.

I've never seen any point to owning any generation of XBox.

Lttp, OoT, LA, TP are all up there I guess. Hated the motion controls on Skyward sword. I quit playing it twice. Never got into MM, but will acknowledge it appeared to be a good game as I watched two friends play and beat it back in the day. I own it on 3DS, but never put time in to play it.

Halo 1 was only on Xbox for a while wasn't it? And Halo 2 etc were only on Xbox for a while as well?

I got my 360 almost exclusively because I wanted to play Castle Crashers.

Eh. That's kind of the thing with XBox, if I ever had one I'd spend more on the console than I would on every game I'd be interested in playing on it combined.

I owned an xbox360 for the sole purpose of it being the defacto fgc console at the time. I played maybe a handful of games outside of those.

I wanted to like Lost Odyssey. Another generic ass RPG that had crazy potential before it drops off a cliff after the first disc and goes full blown jrpg cliches and tropes. I genuinely loved the way they conveyed immortality as a curse between the characters. Than for whatever reason they seem to stop giving a shit altogether about that certain plot point.

Halo and Gears were p much the only reasons, X-box Live was unparalleled for console multiplayer back when. Sony's dunked all over them for years now.
