What age do you think people discover their sexuality? Obviously it varies kid to kid but I'm curious.

I think most people would agree it happens in early teens, maybe even 11-12.

You have a kid here, in a home of two boys wanting to be a drag queen at 8 years old. My guess is his mom is an esthetician or works in the beauty field and his decision was helped along, which makes a pretty logical case for abuse.

Is it possible he's just 10+ more years mature than his peers?(enough to discover his sexuality, decide he is gay, and then further decide he wants to do drag.) Sure. That's entirely possible. Is it likely? Nah. Not in any world

Most kids who are queer will tell you that they know they're different as young kids as early as elements school and know that what they feeling isn't what everyone else is.

Also doing drag is not a sexuality nor sexual.

Doing dress up and playing with make up is not sexualization of a child. Make up ranges from lip gloss to a full beat. If you think that all make up usage is sexualization then that's on you and also this conversation is done.

Idk if you are responding to me. I am going off the article you posted. He said he wanted to be a drag queen as early as 8, out as gay at 9. Hopefully not a response to me and you read what you post

Didn't say you couldn't. I was very clearly talking about this situation. If you wanted to be outraged and talk about the issue in general you shouldn't post a specific situation. You wouldn't do well in court, lawyers would be screaming "relevance" all the time

You opened the door to bringing sexuality as to being relevant to his interests in being a drag queen when they're not. Do better hun.

I said a child of 8 years old coming to the conclusion that they are gay and want to do drag is unlikely. I actually said it's possible but extremely unlikely. The fact that they are welcoming articles about it makes me almost positive the parents had some ambition here.

And you're incorrect in your assumption. Fucking hell. Kids figure out or have an idea of their sexuality at an early age and will police themselves to avoid drama when they are deemed too gay or not normal enough.

Children also have ideas for what they want to do as future careers. Stop acting as if children are these one dimensional creatures with no grasp or understanding of reality and things going on around them.

You've clearly never been around children. They are one dimensional beings with no grasp of reality or things going on around them for quite a while.

I really envy the world you live in, that just conforms to whatever stupid ass thought you wake up with.

Googling what age children discover their sexuality is going to tell you 11-x in every study and some change it far after they initially discover it. I did say that he could just mature faster than others but the fact that he wants to be a "drag queen" at 8 years old and the above is a pretty big red flag that there has been some outside intervention. Especially since his mom is tweeting up a storm and taking every interview she can.
