I feel pretty confident that the Bucks and Sixers are top 2 in the East and the Clippers are in the top 2 in the West.

bucks 76ers clips utah
I think this makes Clips favorites... unless Oubre signs with the Lakers.
Agreed on the East.
How much of the Clips > Lakers is PG+KL > LJ+AD and how much is supporting casts?
I really don't know who is on the Clippers besides Patrick Beverly and know that the Lakers had bare cupboards before this morning.
I'd probably take Bron and AD (assuming health) over PG and Kawhi at least for this season, so it's largely the supporting cast
The Lakers had almost literally no one aside from Kuzma on the roster although they've now added Danny Green, Javale, KCP, etc. Mostly bit players
The Clippers still have their west playoff team largely intact aside from Shai and Gallo. So they still have Lou Williams, Montrezl Harrell, Pat Beverly, Shamet, etc

well
the Lakers haven't won a playoff series in 8 seasons
Toronto was trying to get both Westbrook and PG but the Clippers had more picks and were willing to empty the treasure trove

Lakers signed DeMarcus Cousins 1yr deal
They didn't have LeBron and AD for the past 8 seasons. Arguably the two best players in the NBA
The Jazz added... Mike Conley. Nice pickup but Donovan Mitchell needs to make a real leap as a playoff scorer for them to make noise

Some whispers that Westbrook getting moved will be the next shoe to drop

No way Toronto is interested in Westbrook.
And there go the westbrook conversations: https://www.espn.com/nba/story/_/id/...next-steps-okc
It's being reported that Miami is showing interest in Westbrook. That Butler and Westbrook pairing would be entertaining. For the wrong reasons lol
I was wondering what Butler would be doing in Miami alone.
A lot of big moves but I don't think you can sleep on the Warriors still. Not to say that they're still the most dominant, and while they lost KD and traded away Iggy, they still picked up Russell and Klay should come back this season. In a league that's all about 3's, Steph and Klay are still monsters.
The West is going to be a blood bath this year. The East will still be competitive as fuck too, obviously Bucks and 76'ers at the top. But if Boston reverts to injured Kyrie team ball, they could be right at the top too.
So the Lakers are now starting:
Rondo
Danny Green
Lebron
AD
Boogie
that's solid as fuck on paper
