Barret I can stay out of range and Cloud I can use counters.

Tifa has the lowest hP of them all and always seems to get eaten alive when I try to use her

Kill faster and use regen. Also, use cloud if it's something you should be using counter on

I'm waiting till PC or PS5. I did it with monster hunter and it was the best decision ever, the base game sucks compared to the perks of the PC version. Mods and add-ons galore. Plus it'll look better. It really is harder to wait seeing the praise it's getting, usually there's some glasses worn here but bgers can be pretty critical as well and will call a turd a turd even if it is their waifu childhood game. The other thing for me is the amount of cross platform releases for older FF games, being on PC or Switch makes a game mobile instead of stuck to my living room where I'm least likely to play.

I'd say BGers actually from FFXI era actively look for chances to bash SE and find any tiny little flaw in anything they do. I know I still have that love/hate with them.

That's why I'm so shocked to see so many positive comments.

it will to a degree depend on the success of this trilogy but i doubt any of the other titles have sufficient critical mass around them to support this kind of endeavor. FF VII was the best-selling title in the series by oodles and has the kind of popular cultural cachet none of the others approach.

Sassy Aerith is good but Jesse is honestly best girl, use to rate em Tifa, Aerith then Jesse but that shits been reversed now, its not like Tifa is bad its just the other two are leaps and bounds ahead imo and i hate/love SE for it cause its gonna hurt more.
