Edit: That Kane ejection was also a bit bullshit to me. He only hit the official because he wasn't expecting him to be there just fucking hugging a Golden Knight in the middle of a play for no reason. If the ref feels the need to touch a player, the play should be blown dead.

Him filing for arbitration ended him. He got way too much for us to keep, I knew he would prolly be cut as soon as I saw the 1.2m he was awarded. He deserved it but we couldn't pay that.

We have a ton of young dmen who are looking quality anyways(Siegs,Feher,Alex²).

I assume Fehervary and Samsanov will be the last two sent down but Feher could stay up until Kempny is back.

From everything Ive read, people/the team are very high on Fehevary.

I think it's still interesting that we have 3 goalies up. Samsanov doesnt require waivers, but Copley has a higher cap hit, and we're still 2.6mil above the salary cap

Even if you cut Stephenson + Samsanov, Caps are still 720k over. Kuzy doesnt count for the first 3 games, so that helps, cuz the Caps probably start with 8D due to Kempny

Now, supposing he goes unclaimed and spends the year in Bakersfield, he'll still be 3.2 against the cap.
Which would bring the Oilers total to paying 8.2 mill to players to not play for us. L...O...L.
