edit: to give some context, this is probably the best of all the 40k stories, and it's the one i tell people to start with if they have any interest in the setting at all. you don't have to know shit about the IP. it stands on its own.

It's also a story they can do without relying an insane amount on cgi that would likely look like complete shit without a billion dollar budget.
