I think that's because they used practical effects and a suit/prosthetics for surfer in the old movie. This new one is purely CGI and it shows

It looks like from the trailers that F4 is set in a different universe than the prime MCU verse, so I'm expecting Galactus is actually gonna win and eat their universe, with only a handful of survivors escaping like the core F4 team (as we see in post credit scene of Thunderbolts) but also their universe's version of Tony Stark who blames the F4 for failing to save their world so he becomes Dr. Doom and follows them to their new universe (ours) to get revenge

It's probably an unpopular opinion, but in a vacuum I don't really see the issue with "spoiler teasers" like that one. Non comic readers have no idea what it implies and will have it explained to them in the movie (if they even see that clip in the first place, which I doubt). Comic readers already knew where it was going from the very first trailer when Sue said she was pregnant. The idea that there are people who know enough to know that it's a "spoiler" without knowing enough to know it was coming is just a type of person that doesn't exist IMO.

The Superman ones were a little less reasonable to me because we didn't have as much of an idea of what material/storyline they were trying to adapt and they basically showed off every villain in the movie in the first two trailers.
