So real talk - who is going to actually try these people? A lot of people are hoping for some sort of American Nurenburg, but then forget that they were held by well....not Germany. We don't recognize the ICC, and it's not like we are going to try them. I really just don't see any sort of comeuppance really happening unless except maybe, mayyyyybe, for a small group of people at the very center.

Hasn't Trump and his orbit experienced multiple felony CONVICTIONS resulting from their deeds since 2016?

Haven't multiple people angled for pardons because they're sitting in jail or awaiting sentencing related to their activities in service to Trump's illegal activities?

Justice has been and is being served. Yes, it's hard to continue doing that when the criminal wins an election that makes him immune to judicial punishments, but his orbit is not immune especially from state charges. And none of that will matter when Trump leaves office or eventually dies.

Far from anything rising to the level of consequences for the top. Worth noting they haven't done anything that rises to the level of nuremburg. Not gassing millions. Not doing human experimentation. And our torture is being outsourced to other countries.

What punishment do you think they deserve? If it's any consolation, I can't think of any punishment for their crimes that warrants a life sentence, including Trump. I'm interested in justice, not revenge, if that helps.
