Homeland Security will be announcing charges against two Minneapolis-based Antifa groups who are anti-ICE.

According to a media advisory sent out by the U.S. Attorney's Office on Tuesday, prosecutors will reveal charges against "multiple defendants" for "conspiracy to impede or injure federal officers" and other crimes related to efforts to "violently oppose" immigration law enforcement by members of two groups that authorities say are Minneapolis-based Antifa groups.

The exact nature of the crimes or the individuals involved have not been released. FOX 9 has not yet been able to track down the criminal complaints for the individuals charged in the case.

In February, federal prosecutors arrested Minneapolis man Kyle Wagner, 37, for making threats against federal officers. In posts online, investigators said he encouraged his followers to "get your f---ing guns" and engage in acts of violence against federal law enforcement. Prosecutors said Wagner identified as an "Antifa member."

Authorities said along with his alleged crimes, Wagner also used his Instagram account to dox someone online who was pro ICE.

ICE tracked down a woman in Syracuse, NY and attempted to intimidate her to remove a Instagram post that named ICE agent Jonathan Ross as the person who shot and killed Renee Good.

Two U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents issued a warning to a Syracuse woman Tuesday to remove a social media account they said threatens federal agents.

Paigelynne Gonyea said she believes they are referring to a January post where she named the ICE agent who shot protester Renee Good.

Gonyea was working as a poll worker Tuesday afternoon at the Central Library on Salina Street when agents called to meet with her. She said she invited them in.

She said she did not want to meet them outside alone.

The agents handed Gonyea a form letter that says they were investigating threats made against ICE personnel. The form says the agents had identified an Instagram account they believe breaks federal law. They asked her to remove and discontinue the behavior.

“This notice officially informs you that it is unlawful to threaten to assault, kidnap, and/or murder a federal official or that federal official’s immediate family member with the intent to impede, intimidate, and/or interfere with the federal official’s duties or retaliate against a federal official due to the performance of their duties,” the document said.
The agents were carrying a folding containing screen caps of her Instagram activity and a photocopy of her drivers license. Homeland Security has confirmed that they sent the agents.

DHS tracked a guy, who was on vacation, to issue a warning of "criminal prosecution." The guy had sent an email to the acting ICE director Todd Lyons comparing him to a Nazi.

The two federal agents told Streever’s wife they had come Tuesday afternoon to deliver a warning letter about an email Streever had sent in January to Todd Lyons, then the acting director of U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement.

Streever sort of remembered the note he wrote when he was feeling angry and helpless after the federal government shot to death two protesters in Minnesota.

On Thursday, Streever and daughter Helen flew back to New York’s JFK Airport, sailed through the customs checkpoint and took a shuttle to a hotel, where they immediately crashed with jet lag.

At 9:55 p.m., the front desk rang his hotel room. A special agent named Trevor Pitts had come looking for him, the staff said. The hotel staff did not tell the agent that Streever and his daughter were upstairs, Streever said. The agent left his card.

Now Streever was really creeped out: How did the U.S. Department of Homeland Security know he was in a hotel in New York City? And why was his email from January suddenly so urgent? And what would he tell his daughter?
He didn't threaten the director. Just made a statement.

You are a monstrous human being and will go down in history as America’s Reinhard Heydrich, the butcher.

“The way you are protecting the obvious execution in Minnesota, even as we see the videos, will lead to your downfall. Even Trump will turn on you before the end, and you will be a sad, despised man who eats himself alive with shame at your own pathetic weakness.

“You will never know peace. You will seek to lose yourself, to escape the burden of knowing the truth about yourself. But wherever you go, you will find yourself. You will torment yourself until your last day on Earth.
    Spoiler: show

ICE got caught in another lie. In June 2025, a Venezuelan man was accused of trying to choke an ICE officer "to death" during an arrest. Videos of the arrest instead shows the an ICE officer choking the man.

Gabriel Hurtado-Cariaco, 31, was referred to by DHS as a “criminal illegal alien” and a “known Tren de Aragua terrorist.” The agency said he “violently attacked an ICE agent” by slamming her head into the ground and attempting to choke her to death. At a preliminary hearing, a Homeland Security agent and a federal prosecutor said Hurtado-Cariaco received “special forces-type training” in the Venezuelan military and may have been involved in “killing people, hurting people, [and] committing human rights violations.”

Hurtado-Cariaco sought asylum at the border in June 2023, and was paroled into the U.S. in 2024. He was granted work authorization and had an upcoming immigration court date. During a credible fear interview conducted in El Paso, Texas, he said he deserted the Venezuelan military because of disagreements with the Maduro regime and fled out of fear of retaliation.

Two bystander videos of his arrest showed that he resisted being detained, at times pushing against the two agents who attempted to subdue him, but did not actively attack either of them. Prosecutors admitted that Hurtado-Cariaco had not choked the female officer as previously claimed, chalking it up to a “misperception” from the agent who wrote the affidavit that led to Hurtado-Cariaco’s arrest.

Initially arrested and later indicted on charges of attempted murder of a federal officer, Hurtado-Cariaco pleaded guilty on Thursday to one count of forcibly resisting arrest causing bodily injury as part of a plea agreement. He was sentenced to 14 months in prison – most of which he has already served, since he has been behind bars since his arrest.
The ICE officer who wrote the affidavit was not present for the arrest and only used the embellished accounts of the arresting officers.

The first video was taken from inside a nearby car. The man who filmed it, Nathan Aragon, testified Thursday that he began filming about five seconds after the interaction began. Aragon said he did not see the female agent fall or sustain any injuries before he began recording.

Aragon’s video begins with the female agent placing Hurtado-Cariaco into a chokehold. As he continued to resist, she punched him in the arms with a closed fist.

Hurtado-Cariaco managed to stand up with both agents still clinging onto him. As they topple to the ground again, the male agent jumped onto Hurtado-Cariaco’s back and placed him into a headlock-style chokehold.

The second video was taken through the window of a home. It picks up shortly after the first video ends as they struggle on the ground. At one point, the male falls off of Hurtado-Cariaco’s back, but appears to keep a firm grip on one of Hurtado-Cariaco’s arms. The female agent is also on the ground, and Hurtado-Cariaco appears to push against her with his free arm, but the video does not show Hurtado-Cariaco choking her.

Hurtado-Cariaco managed to free himself from the agents as they grabbed at his shirt, which came off. The male agent briefly grabbed onto Hurtado-Cariaco’s leg as he ran away. As he ran away shirtless, the female agent followed him and attempted to grab onto his pants, which resulted in her falling to the ground as he continued to run.

A couple killings from ICE that aren't getting nearly the press that Renee Good or Alex Pretti got.

    One in Houston, TX.

A Mexican national fatally shot by an Immigration and Customs Enforcement officer in Houston had no criminal convictions during his decades living in the U.S. and was driving a crew to a homebuilding site when he was killed, his family and a Texas congresswoman said Wednesday.

Lorenzo Salgado Araujo was working toward securing legal status in the U.S. and knew what to do if stopped by ICE, his son said.

Federal officials said they were stopping the vehicle in an immigration enforcement operation.

The shooting happened Tuesday in Magnolia Park, a neighborhood that has been a hub for Houston’s Mexican American community for a century.

Salgado Araujo was shot after he ignored commands and attempted to ram an officer who fired his weapon in self-defense, the Department of Homeland Security said Tuesday. ICE officers were targeting him because he was living in the country without legal permission, according to the department, which oversees ICE. The man’s car struck an ICE vehicle, the department added.
ICE claims in an effort to avoid arrest, Araujo rammed an ICE law enforcement vehicle, and refused commands. Moments later, ICE said he drove his vehicle toward an agent in an attempt to run that agent over.

Surveillance video from a nearby business shows a white van traveling on Wayside. It then takes a left turn on Canal Street. Two dark SUVs appeared behind it. One passed the white van. The second stayed behind it.

Moments later, the white van made a U-turn and pulled over alongside a business. One of the SUVs stopped next to it.

Separate cellphone video recorded by bystanders as officers moved in appears to show officers on top of the man as he lay bleeding on the ground.
If you look closely through the trees in the video, you can see the white van followed by the ICE agents in a dark SUV.

You can see the ICE vehicle appear to try to cut the van off and both vehicles veer off to the side of the road. Video shows the white van go in reverse, then forward where it pulled over a few houses away.

Meanwhile, the ICE vehicle made a three-point turn on Canal Street and then drove forward to follow the white construction van.
Now ICE is attempting to deport the witnesses to the shooting.

    https://newrepublic.com/article/2129...ed-self-deport

But it appears three other people were in the van with the now-deceased man, and they presumably could recount their version of what happened: the victim’s brother and two employees of the dead man’s construction business. They were detained by Immigration and Customs Enforcement during the encounter, and we haven’t heard from them publicly about what happened.

Now, in another potentially dark turn in the saga, those three men are under pressure from immigration officials to agree to self-deport, Juan Proano, a representative for the families and CEO of the League of United Latin American Citizens, claimed in an interview with The New Republic.

“They’re being pressured to sign self-deportation orders,” Proano told me. “They’re currently in detention. These men hold the key to what actually happened.” Under self-deportation, detained migrants agree to leave the country voluntarily within a prescribed time period.

The three men are Araujo’s brother, Victor Hugo Salgado Araujo, and two workers, Daniel Tirado Pantoja and Jose Trinidad Rojas Pliego, Proano told TNR. Family members who are in touch with them confirmed the pressure to sign self-deportation orders, Proano says, adding that some of the men may be inclined to do so to avoid longer-term detention.

And four in Memphis, TN. The DEA, Memphis Special Taskforce, and National Guard are involved with these.

Federal agents killed a man at a Memphis motel on Wednesday morning in a Drug Enforcement Administration operation with the Memphis Safe Task Force, the fourth officer-involved death since the anticrime initiative began in September.

Authorities said agents from the taskforce surrounded an extended-stay motel on Poplar Avenue, about 11 miles (18km) east of downtown Memphis, in support of a DEA operation.

“Federal and local law enforcement officers were attempting to serve a warrant on a wanted fugitive facing felony drug charges out of Shelby county,” said a spokesperson for the US Marshals Service, which is the lead agency for the taskforce. “After issuing numerous verbal commands for the individual to surrender, officers made a forced entry into the building. Additional commands were given for the individual to exit. During the encounter, the individual pointed a handgun at members of the Memphis Safe Task Force. Taskforce members responded to the immediate threat by discharging their firearms.”

Early on Monday morning, national guard soldiers fatally shot 20-year-old Tyrin Johnson as he was being pursued by the Memphis police department following reports of shots fired near Ida B Wells and Gayoso avenues downtown.

That followed the 21 May death of Jonah Neal, 25, when taskforce officers responded to a report of an armed man threatening to harm himself at a home. Police said they found Neal with several weapons inside the home. A homeland security special agent shot him, according to the police.

And on 13 May, Memphis Safe Task Force agents shot and killed 41-year-old Darrin Pigram while serving an arrest warrant at a Burger King located in Memphis’s Frayser neighborhood.
Law enforcement haven't released footage in any of these cases.
