Ended the season with the highest scoring offense in the division, that’s with the last five games without OBJ. An improved offensive line on the right side. A young defensive corp is probably going to be the biggest worry heading into the season.

The 5-11 2018 record doesn’t tell the whole story. Five games were decided by three points or less with it coming down to one or two plays within the last few minutes of the 4th quarter.

We're set at C and LT has we have been for the past few years. But FA to start at one G position and the other two to be covered by rookie first rounders, one of which had a heart procedure during camp

I'm expecting it to be a rough first few weeks and can only hope they gel after that. It hasn't looked good during preseason with Sambrailo at RT in place of McGary (heart surgery guy)

its sounding like the boys have no problem giving zeke the highest paid yearly average (15m) but they aren't willing to give the same amount of guarantees that gurley got (45m) 'cause they dont trust him. the guarantees are closer to bells (27m). zeke wants it all

Zeke understands that yearly averages mean virtually nothing and it's all about the guarantee, because very few players reach the end of their 4/5 year deals without being restructured or cut, especially if they aren't QBs.

Zeke can ask all he wants, but the Cowboys would be idiotic to match Gurleys numbers. And I don't think many (any?) other team other there is dumb enough to either. I'd rather have a more reasonable Melvin Gordon, without off-the-field issues, than Zeke for #1 pay and off-the-field issues any day. Isn't the guy 1 false move away from a mandatory 10 game suspension?

there's definitely no team in the league that will pay gurley's guarantees to a rb. the 2nd highest guarantee for a rb is 32m for david johnson... that's a 13m difference between the highest and 2nd highest. its an insane 40% pay increase. forget about the fact that both gurley and dj haven't lived up to their contracts so far because of injuries. rbs are just a bad investment with high guarantees. zeke will never receive 46m-50m guaranteed if thats what his people are telling him to go for. it wont happen. he's going to be stuck in purgatory with the boys owning his rights for the next 2 years, and maybe even a third
