So something I've been wondering... I know throw breaks are a 2 frame window but like... is that 2 frame window before the throw even starts or something or is that just some hidden oddity with the netcode?

So many times I know a throw is coming, and I'm hitting the input and... nothing. Maybe I just need to accept I'm getting old and anime fighters are no longer for me, need to stick to tekken and its 10 frame jabs

Aside, the VIP banner from Celestial Floor makes getting matches in the park very difficult. Not even paying attention to the fact I'm using a character with a level in the single digits and not my primary and just noping out instantly cause I got a fancy banner.

Ram combos all being burst safe is super dumb when you consider it's only possible because her hitboxes are so disjointed, and most of the cast had their previously disjointed weapon attacks turned into dhalsim arms. You can fucking throw the tip of ky's sword in this game.

From what I understand, the total tech window in this game is 5f, not 2 like old games. Idk how that window is distributed, but I would guess (based on being able to tech early in other ASW games) ~2f before, same frame, ~2f after.

You can't tech if you're in the negative thou. Like if you get thrown out of landing recovery (which you have after doing basically anything in the air), you can't escape.

Yeah whoever decided some of these hitboxes are fucking crazy.

Got Ram and Nago's S/HS buttons and Sol's 6s with active hitboxes and no hurtbox with massive range, then your Ky/Faust/Leo's who for some reason have every single pixel of their weapons as active hurtboxes.
