I should rewatch Person of Interest..
You know the ACC is in the confessional saying their rosaries that noone find out that they rode with the SEC to church.
Reports out that the Big Ten is declining refunds for their B10 network access.
Does anyone here actually buy that they plan to make a lot of kids play 2 seasons in a single calendar year? This is being done so their kids can't transfer to other conferences. A spring season is not happening lmao. The Big 10 is fucking over their players.
And that will become very apparent the longer this ACC/SEC/Big12 alliance lasts. Even if they have to cancel or curtail a season midway with an outbreak, if these three conferences start as projected then they're going to have a school like Michigan or USC jump ship and find a way to play.

Sounds like the Big10 is starting to mutiny behind the scenes.
The dude at the Big Ten already warned that Nebraska could be violating its terms of agreement with B10 by playing anywhere else and would lose a shit load of money and see themselves quickly Thanos-snapped out of the conference if they pulled some shit.
saw a lot of nebraska fans mutinying on twitter with the likes of “YEAH WELL IF WE LEAVE IT SUCKS FOR YOU, LOOK AT EVERYTHING WE BRING TO THE CONFERENCE”
since joining the conference that would be absolutely nothing
they’re also the only school in the conference that isn’t a member of the AAU so they can’t even pretend they’re in for academics
Eh, plenty of conferences would jump to include them full-time.
true, but it would still be no loss to the big ten. people point that their wrestling team has been good but the entire rest of the big ten (including rutgers!) is already strong in that sport
First 2 lists I clicked on have Nebraska as a top 10 football program of all-time. It would be a huge loss to the Big Ten and lets not pretend otherwise:

look at how they’ve performed the last twenty years and in the big ten
they’ve won two bowl games in the big ten. even Rutgers has a bowl win
they’ll latch on somewhere but let’s not pretend Nebraska is anywhere near what they were decades ago
the big ten has Michigan and OSU, they won’t be hurting for prominence with nebraska gone
it’s why Nebraska pulled a pretty quick about-face on playing elsewhere this season
