God of War is the tits playing through FFVII is really making me want to play it instead. Journey is one of them impressionist indie as art jams, loved it but it has to be your thing. think Inside and Limbo and Braid and Abzu and business like that.

Fuck that fight is all I gotta say. I don't remember much about FF13 anymore but I remember fighting that piece of shit.

literally the only thing 7 has going for it over 13 is the nostalgia factor

the main knock people had on 13 was it being too linear, 7 is more linear

some people have complaints about the battle system and AI for party members in 7, 13 had better battle AI and you can set party members to different play styles (the main knock still being against the lead member dying being an autowipe)

there is more to do in 13 than 7r

i will concede some of the characters in 13 suck (looking at you hope)

If you want to like FF7R just stop playing it once you beat it tbh. The more you play it the worse it gets.

Doing the hard playthrough + skipping all cs + skipping all sidequests (for dresses) shines a light on just how much time they spend FORCING you to walk or crawl for no reason.
