oh fucking rofl Day i forgot to tell you, last weekend i went out with some friends for birthday shenanigans and they had this redhead roommate they were trying to set me up with and she seemed p chill and p cute and i was like ey maybe why not. when we all went back to theirs for the night she instantly grabbed the aux and started playing Lateralus and i was like -_- and then started talking about how hard she was trying to get tickets for their tour and was willing to pay $3000 to see them up close and i was like -____- and then she went to change into pajamas and came out wearing a beat-up Tool shirt and i was like -___________________________-

it's the Henry Wadsworth Longfellow translation. it's not impossible to follow, but a lot of the verses seem to be referencing shit i just don't know. like, they often won't even name a character, instead just referring to them by their deeds or city of origin. also, sometimes the whole 'ye olde english' shit does get too dense for me. it feels like I'm listening to someone have a conversation in both spanish and english, with a heavy accent.

My daughter refuses to take a pacifier. Never has, and at this point I doubt she ever will. She will take teethers, though.

I’ve bought all kinds of teething/pacifiers and my son probably pays attention to them for about 3 minutes before he runs off and plays with a random object.

My son started comfort nursing to go to sleep. That escalated into thumb sucking. One of my younger brothers sucked his thumb well into his teens and I wasn't about that. We got the pacifiers and he hasn't sucked his thumbs in a week.

I sucked my thumb until I was like 10 years old and man I fought hard to not break that habit. Dunno how it eventually got ended.

Didn't have to worry about it with my daughter thankfully.
