    Although this brings up a great point on why SNL has sucked for years now. Gotta avoid offending the snowflakes of the world so you stick with the Leslie Jones and Pete Davidson tier comedians.

    does SNL sucks? i haven't seen a full episode in years. a buncha the shorts they throw up on the web are p good tho + their debate parodies in 2016 was brilliant stuff. inject Larry David as Bernie Sanders directly into my veins.

    SNL is usually pretty good around election time with political humor but they lost their touch on the absurd comedy stuff around the mid 90s, Mad TV took that niche and ran with it and SNL never got it back imo, closest they came was Sandberg doing the Lonely Island shorts but you can only do so many of those.

    I think everything before the news segment is usually pretty strong, and the weaker skits show up after. Of course sometimes the show over or under performs. I usually put it on during the week during dinner, and check out near the end to clean up unless a skit really hits me hard lol.
