looking back, you made the right call.

at the time though if i was leading the dynamis run for example, i would have just figured you were afk the whole run and yelled at you out of frustration. this was at the time tho when we were all teenagers, now a days i'd prob have a good chuckle

I've ran into some 75 era Fairy HNMLS members randomly in FFXIV it was nuts. Amongst them was Kaige. I think I ran into Kamineko from NotED but didn't bother to ask. Ran into someone in college years ago that actually knew that crazy Russian dude in TF irl. I don't remember how the conversation came up but it was funny.

Same. For instance, on Dyna-Jeuno when you first come up the stairs leading out of the moghouse, I'd pull from palace beyond the stairs towards the entrance to Upper Jeuno with sleepers waiting on that end. That way if anything gets fucked up the mobs should path back towards palace and the rest of the group should be able to stay on the stairs and not get aggro.

Until one of the dumbass DDs is too far forwards because "they're being a lookout" or some dumb shit and aggros the pull anyway.

I became friends with someone in college and found out 3 years later when we were Juniors that he played XI pretty hardcore. I was always fairly casual, never doing the 2am kings camping or anything like that, but he was all in. Played a RDM, forget what server now.

Being an elite endgame ls leader taught me a lot of things about life, mostly that no matter what you do- odon will still ghost you and never show up to dynamis again

All I know is playing with you guys made me see current FFXI is just as good, if not better. And I loved 75 era.

FFXI is like my time in the Navy. The whole experience wasn't really all that great but connections I made after made it worth the time.
