I see, your recollection of events is that all of those candidates ran on single issue platforms, this makes sense.

It would be both naive and foolish as you say to believe any President could get every policy proposal passed, as our system of government is set up specifically to prevent such from happening. It's also impossible to forecast every imaginable scenario that could arise during a Presidential term and divert attention and resources away.

As a voter, however, I am far more attracted to a candidate who demonstrates a command of a wide array of issues and puts forth plans I agree with or at least prefer to other alternatives. I like knowing that my potential Potentate is ambitious in the scope of what they intend to accomplish because a) it demonstrates that they might be able to get it done given the chance and b) they will at least make no moves in their administration to move things backwards on issues even if they don't get the chance to push them forward.

Finally, I'm a bit puzzled by your being dismissive of Warren because she asserts she'll get her proposals accomplished. What should a candidate say to win hearts and minds? "This is what I'm going to put out there, but realistically just understand much of this won't actually happen, or will get mired down in the legislative process until it's virtually unrecognizable! Warren 2020!" That's not how a campaign works. You put out your best possible version of yourself and exude absolute confidence this will be you every single day for 4-8 years.

Most candidates at least have a primary issue. Obviously they have policies for everything. Not sure if you are missing that point or just stupidly annoying it as you vote for the old Indian

Waiting for what exactly I said that's disingenuous. I listed several candidates and the primary issues that they ran on so it can't be that... It can't be that Warren has a primary issue otherwise you'd just state it. What she's known for she would be better off staying a legislator and doing (going after big corporations).

I mean, a quick search of any candidate can show you that during their campaigns they had multiple issues they were attempting to address. Obama even distributed a pdf outlining his platform. Education, abortion, healthcare, drugs, tech expansion, environmental regulation among other things.
