What are the odds that Warren would not only be treated the exact same way as other women in her field and nationally, have two teachers from the same district confirm that anyone pregnant in those days would be let go, tell part of the story about it in 2007, add a pertinent personal detail when she was running for office in 2012, and ALSO believe a story her grandmother told her enough to get a DNA test done over it?

You know I believed for years that my family came from Hungary because my grandmother told me a story about a horse thief ancestor who fled the country and changed his name, wasn't until a year or two ago my brother took a 23 and me thing and found no Hungarian ancestry.

And it's kinda the point. Nothing in her story is really contradictory or hard to believe. The only reason theres even any question is cause she never elaborated on exactly how she left her teaching job. The facts and timeline line up, and if a person doesnt believe her then it's pretty clear it's because they just really don't want to believe anything she says.

"She shouldn't have written it down based on a story" is probably the best criticism I've heard, it's true that if she only had the family legend to go on she shouldn't have put it out there to get some kind of benefit from it.
