    just a reminder to people that kaep had a 1-10 record and benched for blaine gabbert the year he was cut. he was kinda blackballed but he also wanted more money than he was worth. the dude wouldn't take backup qb money and a backup anything that would bring unwanted pr isn't worth having on your team. if kaep was mahomes he'd be in the nfl making 200 million bucks and the whole league would be kneeing before every game

    at this stage of the game kaep wouldn't join an nfl team for less than 20 million a year (that's what he wanted from the AAF) and his skill set just doesn't reflect that kind of money

    Pedantic but I’m gonna well actually the shit out of this post. Chip Kelly gave the job to Gabbert in the offseason. Gabbert was then benched for him around mid season.

    And late season kaep was benched for gabbert when kaep threw for like 5 yards in 3 quarters of foosball. yes he threw about 5 yards in 3 quarters. i dont remember which game, i'm sure i could google it if i cared enough, but i know it happened. kaep was legitimately terrible as a starter his final year
