Hate crimes AND white supremacy. Pulse Nightclub was a hate crime in which the shooter picked those people because they were gay.

Booker said he was going to go after Hate crimes and white supremacy harder in response to the question about Pulse. He wasn't saying Pulse was a shooting because of white supremacy. He was saying hate crimes and white supremacy are a problem in this country and should be taken more seriously. He was in no way calling the Pulse shooter a white supremacist.

And you dont have to be white to perpetuate white supremacy. There were Jews that helped the Nazis. LGBTQ people that perpetuate hate crimes against other LGBTQ folks with straight people. Slaves that helped their slave masters. Women that traffick other women into sex slavery. Bobby Jindal is all about keeping white people in power. dinesh d'souza is another example. Poor people voting conservatives and Republicans into office.

You can be in a minority group and still work to help your oppressor keep your minority group oppressed.

Is he the one who claimed he was "with ISIS", but the dude had like no contact with them and was more inspired by ISIS than actually with them? And it turns out it was more likely toxic masculinity with ISIS as an excuse?

I feel like there was a shooting around that time with this fact pattern, but theres so many at this point they kinda just blend together.

Everything you typed supports everything I just said. Idk where the homophobia thing comes in. Dude was a disgruntled guy who wasnt getting the ladies he wanted and went off. ISIS was just an excuse, but they never trained him, armed him, assisted him.

When someone says ISIS attacked, I expect ISIS to help facilitate the attack. The guy is a copycat, at best.

He switched targets from Disney World to Pulse at the last minute, chose Pulse by googling "Orlando nightclubs" the day of the attack, didn't know it was a gay club, had never been there before, and never had a relationship with a man, that guy made it up.

I know it's really hard to believe, but the evidence suggests he wasn't targeting gay people - he just wanted to shoot up a nightclub and happened to pick a gay one.
