Can't imagine getting my fleshy parts anywhere near a snapping turtle.

Fear the Turtle is not a slogan it's a life motto.

Just threaten it with a plastic straw, stop being a bitch.
Think I'm gonna take a trip to the local Walmart tomorrow to look at air rifles and bring the baby with me to look like a true Upstate NYer. If only I owned any amount of camo.
I feel like looking at guns while carrying a baby is an entirely acceptable behavior where I live.
Hudson Valley or Appalachia?

I remember reading about one of those Galapagos tortoises that was like 150+ years old and has had so much sex he almost single handedly brought his species back from the brink of extinction. That’s a hell of a legacy.
Yusssssss, I know my redneck New York.

I live in one of the more conservative towns in the area. There are definitely more liberal areas around me, but even then if you go 5-10 minutes in any direction from those towns you're back in "regular folk" country.
I have a friend that lives in Livingston, just outside Hudson. Hudson is a fairly high end little town that attracts city folk up to some nice restaurants and the quaint small town vibe with old brick buildings and boutiques.
My friend bought a hunting cabin where the one neighbor used to live in a teepee, live off a manual well pump, and fish from my friend's pond. On the other side is a small family that likes to go into the woods behind the properties and fire guns.
wait, like alligator snapping turtles? don't fux with them, they're bros. they might fuck up your fishing but they're cool
i think we might mean snapping turtles cause i'm not sure any Macrochelys temminckii will be in VA or NC. maybe tho
The snapping turtle I saw I think was just a common snapping turtle, but my man was huge.
It had a very plain shell. No spines, or markings, or anything like that.
yeah they can both be massive for sure
we saw the alligator snappers a few times in south central KS and they're about the most metal-lookin' creatures alive
i'm still scarred from watching the boss crush one with a large tractor during the farm days
All snappers arent the same metal turtles you see on youtube cracking coconuts and shit?

this alligator snapper is pretty small at 53 lbs
regular snappers have a smoother carapace and a slightly less huge head![]()
Can we put that cute alligator snapper as the spam header?
