im for all forms, hell the GOP might even be taking advantage of these non-ID states, you have no way to prove otherwise, would be a pretty 4D chess move. i'm also for a national ID that is easy to obtain as a flu shot

is discord even a browser itself i think yall talking about 2 different things still
I think so too. Still, Stan making a killing.
No, that's incorrect. You can't register to vote without having verified your identity at some step of the process. The issue is the rules changing to make it more difficult after the fact, requiring new ID types, turning away old ones, etc. Purging voter records for some reason and not giving those purged notification that they must re-register. The requirements for proving your identity become more stringent without giving people time to catch up.
Also if your contention is 15-20% because that's the "elderly" portion of the population that's also incorrect, because as noted these laws are meant to discourage just enough people to help swing elections. Many of those people will have what they need and won't be bothered by changes. Obtaining the necessary ID is much easier for some than others, but if it keeps 1 out of every 100 people from voting, and that 1% of voters happens to be from a demographic that always goes for your opponent, well mission accomplished.

Anyways Hillary saying Pokémon go to the polls kept at least twice as many people home than voter ID laws ever would
Jokes on them, my voting location during the 2016 election was a Pokemon Go stop thingy.
id fraud is literally a 2 billion dollar industry every year and peeps trying to tell themselves that id fraud doesn't happen in an industry that rewards parties more power and financing when you receive more votes. and all the canadian government is asking people to do to prevent this is bring their health card which literally every citizen has lol
I'm of the opinion that IDs should be easily obtainable IE local post offices/libraries, usable for everything, and free.
Requiring a voter ID that was consistent and universally provided would be just fine.
