My building fucking erupted when the Nats won just now. I'm happy for the city but I was hoping the Yankees would win the pennant and go on to beat the Nats. I've never lived in a city actively having its dreams crushed by the Yanks.

I like underdog sports stories though so between the Caps and the Nats this has been a cool time to live here.
