I don't actually understand what coding is.
I get that it's typing lines to make things happen(?) but I don't get why those things happen or what different languages mean or where you go to type those things.
The closest I ever came to learning was when I made a video game intro on RPG Maker back in college.

My friends brother in law was coding and showing off his code at my friend's bachelor party. It was super lame. None of us are coders, we didn't care.

There is almost no subject in the world that has more free and useful resources to teach yourself than coding. Tens of options for every single possible learning style for every language. Videos, courses, homework, lectures, games. Whatever. Paying for coding classes is one of the big WTF things unless you need the incentive of "well I spent money on this so I better do it".

How are you deriving that from what I'm saying? Fiye implied he has some million dollar discord replacement idea, either that or is jealous of discords success, not totally sure.
No amount of coding genius is going to make a product with as much publicity as discord. There are more soft and hard skills required than the ability to code. Coding something like discord is the easy part.
