Are they getting a guaranteed job in a similar field with the same pay that keeps them and their family in the same area?

Or is this one of those “great for everyone until it actually effects me” type liberal deals?
This is another good reason to keep private insurance which I'm sure will end up being the compromise.

P much
I see so many people convinced that there's going to be a compromise, and I wonder what it is that they've seen in the past decade of American politics that leads them to believe that is the case?
Republicans aren't going anywhere. Centrist Dems who have no interest in eliminating the filibuster aren't going anywhere.
A better question is, if the Dems don't get 50 Senators, will a Dem president even be able to fill a cabinet?

There's going to be a compromise on it someday sooner or later. The Overton window has shifted to universal healthcare more in the last 6 years than in the 100 before it. The reality of it is unavoidable at this point, the question is how badly it will be sabotaged out of the gate and how long it will take to put right.

It's a radical change to our current system
I think people that are displaced by the Warren plan could just get a new job. I hear Deadspin is hiring.
People have lost more jobs under Republican control than Democrats control. Why be scared?
