If not for dissenting voices in a crowd you would cease finding facts and evidence to refute them. Trying to prove him wrong should be the fuel needed to make sure you're actually right. If a dozen people shout him down and come back with counterpoints about why he's being dumb, those are counterpoints you probably wouldn't have bothered to check on but for him.

But Guartz isn't dumb. He knows what he's doing. He's coming in with a hot take, setting the table for us to disprove it. And someone usually bites the bait and argues it to the applause of the liberals/leftist people who haven't gotten dogpiled and shamed from regularly posting there from a hot take they've posted earlier. And he'll either shift gears and change the topic or finally stop posting until he finds something else. He does it over and over and over again until he finds something that sticks. Because what he's doing isn't trying to debate or convince people that Trump is innocent and that he should continue to do as he pleases. He's trying to activate never trumpers and he's trying to red pill people who have still somehow managed to stay out of this shit for the last 4 years (The ladder point I think doesn't apply to anyone on BG). His ideology regarding Trump is no different from a LaRouchite.

I dunno maybe I've turned into a tankie and in a year from now I'll be supporting mainland china running over hong kong with tanks. Or maybe I've enough of shitheads like Guartz (high five to Heavencloud and Zoner1501) to know they don't have to play defense because one of BGs many libs will argue whatever nonsense they spout.
