I did skeet shooting with my dad for a year or two when I was a lad but it was a huge hassle and the dudes at the gun club were really weird

Had this Chilean wine that was crazy good. I don't typically like wines that are fruit forward but this one blew my mind. I've been searching for it all night and I can only find 2015 and 2017 vintages. 2016 was what I had. I'm terrified of pulling the trigger on a different vintage.
my dad gave me a bow and arrow set when i was a kid
so there
I can top all of you, my Dad left to pursue a career in alcoholism after I was born and I didn't meet him until I was a teenager but her let me ride his motorcycle one time.

Granted I’ve probably had more training than everyone on BG not named ghost_wheel or FHB, but this is still a silly ass statement.
The fucker is lucky. Had it been nowadays with my one year old in the house I would’ve shot him with zero hesitation lol.
did they have a gun?
i did say almost useless. the intimidation factor is by far its most valuable trait.
thats called brandishing and its usually a felony
only pull it out to blast someone tbh
In Canada, shooting an intruder is a bigger crime than the B&E and attempted theft combined.
lol
i mean in situations where anyone would reasonably blast someone, like a home invasion. but blasting someone reliably at anything but very short range requires training. and carrying requires training to be at all effective.
which is why i said they're almost useless for self defense without training.
without training, firing a gun in self defense is basically just spray and pray.
git gud
I think the UK has a reasonable force thing. If you magically end up shooting someone, they better have a gun too.
You can go on the offensive in your house, but within reason.
Basically how the U.S military does it. Or supposed to anyway.
