I need to figure out shoes.
I need a shoe to wear to work that says professional while being comfortable while not having laces
Loafers? I wear loafers almost every day.

r/goodyearwelt is a solid resource for getting started into the world of grownup shoes, their sticky has everything you need to start stacking Ferragamos Allen Edmonds and Meermins
I had a pair of sketchers that has no branding on them previously that I liked but was told by shoe people that they were horrible![]()
Grown-up shoes are silly.
If you can't go to work in J's or Timbs you need to rethink your career
Speaking of, all the New Yorkers I'm stationed with have started noticing that I'm wearing Timbs in uniform and have been getting mad jelly
loafers are def casual enough to be worn with jeans and a polo, Chelsea's have a more stylish vibe but i work at a stylish university so yolo. if you're real self-conscious about them maybe glance at suede penny loafers they're about as casual as possible while still confidently announcing to the world you've been on a sailboat and have a 401K
The less outlandish color schemes for Laceless Ultraboosts might fit your bill. Tho they don't make them anymore so might be hard to find.
I'll edit this post in a sec to throw up some images.

ain't nobody got time for that
plus if bro is worried about not appearing too tryhard or formal laces add formality
