College in 2019 is awful
These poor kids are fucked
Upsetting is a strong word. I think it's annoying that someone is announcing themselves to an entire group in this way. I don't care if you want to be referred to using gendered or non gendered pronouns.
There's no difficulty in it. If someone tells me they don't want to be labeled he/him, she/her that's fine. I just think the action of announcing it to a group of people is dumb.
That video posted a while ago of whatever conference is a good example. First guy says "Dan, he/him, guys can we keep the conversations to a minimum." Next guy "Fred, they/them, DON'T USE GENDER SPECIFIC PRONOUNS TO ADDRESS AN ENTIRE GROUP."
Whoa dude, too sensitive to this shit.
Its all so exhausting
blackpilled again
a person that corrects someone calling him/her to they/them is like a doctor or a chef that demands you call them by their title out in the everyday world. you're just an annoying cunt
I’ve contemplated going back to college to get my masters. Would be weird though to be surrounded by a bunch of kids who know jack shit about the world. Screaming at you about outrages while you’re distracted cuz their breath smells like similac.
Doesn't cost me anything to use shit people want me to use in reference to them. I'll try me best to remember. If I don't oh well.
If you aren't ok being called whatever you're insecure. Prove me wrong
true story
when i went for my masters (lit) there was one professor i had for a harlem renaissance class and a literature from 1920-50 class. n words everywhere in both classes, no one bats an eye
we were reading christ in concrete and one student referred to the people in the novel as “white trash” and the professor got offended and there was some discussion on sensitivity or something, idk i stopped listening
i can’t be 100% sure if it was christ in concrete or not but i am pretty sure
Did they give Jesus some cement shoes, throw him in the river?
