Looking to head to Australia in "winter", but having trouble deciding when. Need to do it soon too so we can hop on that business class tip before they skyrocket. It's hard pinning a 2 month range down on a 4 month sliding window (Nov - Feb).

Complicating things is deciding when I'd like to head back to work.
Want to spend the first six months with my boy and get working. That puts me right in January.
brb going to teach myself graduate fluid dynamics and thermodynamics so I can make up my own research project on fuel injection in hybrid engines so my self-taught ass can get a job on a F1 team designing new engines
oh wait that's not something that's remotely possible without going to school and demonstrating your aptitude and success through traditional channels
if someone says einstein was a patent clerk with any level of thinking they are making a point then that BG mass shooting thing is gonna be a real possibility
One of my hobbies is working on an anti-matter engine in my garage.
I think I remember saying it's a good place for people who need direction, albeit sarcastically it generally wastes people's money and points them in a general direction that they tend to pursue, more times than not it has nothing to do with what they learned though
Also applying a very specific subset of examples of why something is applicable for all or even the average is not something a scientific person would even begin doing. Do u work at foot locker and your posts about your career are a fasad?
rip maxtm and his wiki physics
Son of a gun. I even googled it
Maybe school would have pointed you in the right direction on how to spell?
who said my masters degree in the humanities was worthless?!?
You're nuts if you think every successful research academic is there because they knew wtf they wanted to do when they went into college. It's a stupid as shit sentiment and you should feel bad for having it.
GF was undeclared for 2 years (and chose math because the college equivalent of a guidance counselor basically told her to in order to up the female student quota) and now works in a DoD lab with her PhD in applied math. People who are going to waste their lives are going to waste their lives no matter what. Thinking that 18 year-olds should have direction is some smoothbrain shit.
