kinda sorta related: is it bad form to use existing original material for classes? this assignment is basically "make a character" so i'm tempted to just use one of the characters i've already created for Pathfinder/D&D. i enjoy writing him and i can use the result for game night, too.

Tbh if I could do my last 10 years over, I woulda served earlier. The benefits I'm getting now are gonna make so much of this shit I was doing before I joined a lot more easier.

I owed like 8k out of college mostly for first year boarding fees. VA Chapter 35 (Survivors' and Dependents' Educational Assistance) and Cal Vet Plan B. Dad was declared permanently disabled after he was discharged from the Navy. Tuition for my brothers and I were waived and we had a monthly stipend on top of it (80% went to rent, 20% food)
