Getting as many kids into STEM as possible is super important to me. Kids is exactly what it sounds like. Kids. I don't have the patience to be an actual teacher, but I do have the skills to make specific activities fun. Every kid that's ever been in the workshop has been a great to work with.

Scratch is made specifically for kids and transitions well into several of the python for kids deals. You make the scratch end super fun and make a transition into super fun basic python problems.

you ever play with Lego's Mindstorms systems? The FIRST Lego League does some good stuff. I was a Mentor with them for a while. There's different levels, so you could get in with the younger kids doing the purely Lego robotics, or the older kids doing hybrid Lego or the high school seniors doing straight up robotics.

Mindstorm and robotics kits tend to be expensive with parts you don't want to lose. Makey Makey isn't robotics (ultra basic circuitry), but it is the go to because it's tons cheaper, is more accessible to kids and integrates with scratch.

I didn't go through Warren's plan, but based on the fact that there are so many plug-in and EV options available already, with more emphasis being put on EVs daily, I don't see much issue. Maybe 2030 isn't completely feasible, but I wouldn't think it's that far off either.

More realistically, I'd say they'd shutdown/limit PRODUCTION of NEW gas cars rather than eliminate all existing gas cars from the roads.
