The famous French actor Jussie Smoulliet is arguing he shouldn’t have to pay the 130k in man hours wasted because he was unaware Chicago PD would launch such an extensive investigation.
Sticks and Stones was mostly p funny but i cannot for the life of me stand celebrities bitching about how hard it is to be a celebrity these days and how the whole world is out to get you and how you can't express yourself anymore. Chappelle went full boomer mode when he spent 5-10 minutes crying about the pernicious power of outrage culture bringing up the terrible victimization of Louis CK and Kevin Hart whose lives (checks notes) weren't ruined and how you can't offend the alphabet people while he (checks notes) offended the alphabet people.
there's some mental disconnect when the rampantly successful millionaire who jokes about how popular he is and is granted a level of comedic freedom his predecessors could only dream about bemoans how persecuted he is and how he isn't allowed to joke about certain things while his jokes about those things brings in millions. dude accuses the nation of being brittle then spends extended time moaning that he and his hyperprivileged celebrity millionaire friends are the real victims. ain't very funny.
Is AG a snowflake now?

snowflakeception
we can go deeper
He's right that not a single comedian has actually been negatively affected by "cancel culture" and most have turned it into material for their acts instead, usually to great applause. Kevin Hart hosting the Oscar's is the sole exception I can think of and 1) it's not like that ruined his career and 2) he was offered the spot again and he chose to refuse. Louis CK being shunned had nothing to do with his jokes. Chappelle's act is a prime example of a comedian taking outrage that is probably benefiting them more than anything and seizing on it, but also imagine if Michael Jackson sucked your dick as your first sexual experience, the sky's really the limit from there.

I mean Chappelle has a point. I don’t know how rotten tomatoes work, but are the critics that are arguing the special was bad is because it was bad? Or because they don’t want to offend the demographic Chappelle was joking about?
38% or whatever it was seems awfully low for something that was pretty damn funny.
'the critics' are literally 6 people one of whom literally posted a review on their own private website. acting like you're a persecuted artist because of that reaction when millions watch your show is just so fake, so weak. and it plays his audience like a fucking fiddle as he can point to this insignificant backlash he receives from SJWs and his fans use it as proof he is a brave lone voice in the wilderness fighting against the tyranny of modern culture even as 99% of his viewers adore it and a massive media conglomerate throws tens of millions his way to regularly produce on one of the largest platforms in the world.
Twice as funny when it's a rich snowflake bitching about how he can't do the shit he used to do. Ricky Gervais tier.
I'm watching this absolutely horrible teenage drama on Netflix because what is my life even.
