My daughters only 6 months, but my wife spends more on clothes for her than we spend combined. It's upsetting. She's got matching fox shoes to go with the hat. We just spent $80 on a dress, headband, and shoes for my sister's wedding.
From wiki:
The Family Smoking Prevention and Tobacco Control Act, passed by the United States Congress in October 2009, bans cigarettes with flavors other than menthol or tobacco.[80] However, some tobacco companies have rebranded their flavored cigarettes as “little” or “filtered” cigars in order to circumvent this ban.[9] In December 2016, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) sent warning letters to four tobacco companies—Swisher International, Inc., Cheyenne International LLC, Prime Time International Co. and Southern Cross Tobacco Company Inc.—for marketing their fruit-flavored cigarettes as cigars to avoid the ban.
for sure. Legos do have the benefit of massive name recognition, and full compatibility with any Lego kits the kids might have at home, but they're definitely a bit more specialized than makeymakey looks to be.
i will say, though, that at least at the lower levels, the only absolutely critical parts are the servos, sensors, wiring, and smart bricks, all of which are somewhat bulky/obvious and difficult to lose. everything else is just lego, and all of it is fully compatible with literally any lego kit ever created. i was working with the younger kids on purely Mindstorms systems. The older kids start to use 3rd party software, and then at the pre-college level they're practically fabricating their own parts. I don't know much about those levels, tbh.
anyway yeah, take a poke at it. I was pretty impressed by the organization, but then, i'm a bit biased, being a Lego collector.
also, vapes are indeed better than cigs. they're still fucking bad, tho. and their popularity rose absurdly fast, before any form of regulation could keep up. only God and Big Nicotine know what the fuck is in those things, and only one of those entities knows how it affects the human body with long-term and/or high-volume use.
whether they are "marketed" to teens and kids is irrelevant. kids are consuming them. given the massive harm we know for a fact that cigs can cause, the infinite array of entirely unknown effects e-cigs might have, and parents' unwillingness to police their own children, it seems logical to take drastic measures to prevent them from gaining a foothold in that market while research is conducted and more reasonable regulations are crafted. After all, look at how long it's taking to get cigs even close to out of that demographic.
also, bunch of cute kids in here.
My son is wearing hipster glasses. All your opinions are offensive, racist, homophobic, etc.
He's making a dopey-assed face in this but I love this photo.![]()
That seems like a terrible place to put a kid but that's just me.

Sometimes we gotta take risks for that clout, homie. (I wasn't around when this happened.)
