Intentionally getting addicted to nicotine never made sense to me.

LMAO at you motherfuckers pretending your kids are cuter than mine!
My lad can't even wear hats yet and he's got two flat caps on the hooks.
If you read the article this sounds like something entirely unrelated to nicotine vaping, and exclusively a THC/CBD thing.
The notion that vaping is completely safe is really, really fucking stupid ("it's just water vapor" no it's not you dumb fuck) but the regulatory agencies/government in the US acting like the risks of it are some great mystery is equally as stupid. After they started regulating it a few years back we know exactly what's going into a person's body (assuming you're buying stuff from a licensed vendor of course).
Is it healthy? Absolutely not. But the health adverse chemicals being inhaled are also all present in cigarettes and to a significantly lesser degree in e-liquid.
That's not completely true. There are no regulations to the oils, coils, or wicks. You have no idea if the coil or wick you're using is safe for repeated use, nor do you know the oils being used and of any harmful chemicals inside that.
I'm not saying ban them all forever, but let's not pretend that the only risk is nicotine addiction. And nevermind people can easily inhale more nicotine with vapes than cigarettes.
I'm with Bane on this one, something needed to be done to bring back the stigma around nicotine especially around the kids. I'm also sick of bros exhaling those sick clouds at a bar cause they think it looks cool. Honestly, this is a win fellas.

I read it. I posted it because it thought them bringing up kids was topical, but I don't actually feel one way or the other.
I'm a former pack a day dude. As a current non-smoker, I regret how rude I was as a smoker. I think people that smoke tend to be rude about it, and I think people that vape are just as rude.
By rude, I mean it would be nice if people that smoke did all the could to shield people that don't from it.
I haven't really dealt with people vaping since I got out of the military but man they gave absolutely zero fucks until the commands start instituting harsh as fuck rules about that shit.
I don't feel one way or the other about the government's stance on this, and I might consider smokers rude, but I'm not about to bother anyone unless they are literally blowing it right in my face.
Still, I miss the act of smoking and there's a lot of nostalgia tied to cigarettes for me.
What I missed the most when I quit was that time spent alone outside a building somewhere doing some self-reflection.
Honestly I'm personally surprised I never picked it up. Smoking was an extremely good way to get breaks in the Navy and socialize with others.
Here’s the real reason that Juul’s CEO is warning people against using his e-cigs
Shit's bad. No question. Still don't think they should ban it completely, but I'll just go back to my earlier statement that there is a clear issue with marketing that so many teens have taken to it and believe it's risk-free.Burns' remarks are the clearest sign yet of how Juul is being forced to shift its marketing as the sleek devices face increasing scrutiny over their role in sparking a teen vaping epidemic and potentially being tied to seizures.
...
The company launched its devices in 2015 with a series of promotional events that included parties, free giveaways of its devices, and posters that featured young-looking models. At the time, the e-cigarettes were sold in flavors that included dessert with labels that included the word "cool."
...
Juul has now risen to prominence as the most popular e-cigarette in America. It is also now partially owned by Altria, the tobacco giant behind Marlboro.
I dont think they need to be banned but I do think they need to officially be treated the same as cigarettes. Go ahead and smoke all you want just stop pretending you're not being a dick about it and go outside lol. You dont see me blowing my thc vape all over the bar.

Most bars I've been to don't allow you to vape inside.
Idk what the official rules are, but the unofficial rule is if you see someone vaping inside and not actually blowing it in someone's face, you shut the fuck up and dont snitch.
