Two hour drive and from the specialist and another two to pick her up. Little shit has no idea how stressed I am for her sake.

Oof, British airways had a shitload of rules about what carrier to ship her in and the kind of care she was getting.

Had to get a whole bunch of documents done to make sure she wouldn't sit in quarantine for 3 months or whatever the length of time is

we had to get a german pet passport and get him a few shots but that was about it, I read a bunch of horror stories about people getting to the airport and then the people telling them the pet couldnt board

we had no issues tho with delta

We got pet insurance through banfield and it easily paid itself back when our older cat had a tumor growing inside her abdominal area. Shit would’ve been stupid expensive otherwise.

We didn’t have to do shit to travel with our cat when we moved to and from Germany lol. All we really had to do was call early enough to reserve a slot to bring her carrier inside with us in the main cabin since they only allowed two at the time.

I think it was Lufthansa we flew through both ways.

the other problem is they never tell you its going to be that expensive up front, its "lets run some tests on him and see whats going on" and then a day later they're doing chemo on your cat and he still dies in a week
