Fantastic Four being the final movie of phase 4 leans heavily into this. Marvel waited until the end of the first Avengers to introduce Thanos and I think we'll see the same concept here.

There's just so many more movies and now shows in each phase it's taking longer to get there.

It's just a shame that we'll just never get some of "those moments" with certain characters. Cyclops/Cap shaking hands and teaming up, Wolverine fighting Hulk, etc.

I'm all for recasting, as tying the character to one actor is very limiting. Depending on the artist/writers characters look different and had different degrees of powers. I don't know how much that applies any more, but in the days of old it did.

Granted there's still the chance given the multiverse and stuff, but I'm not holding my breath.

as for me, I've enjoyed it a ton. I'd love to see some Moon Knight crossover with some other heroes, cuz he has some fantastic run-ins with some characters in the comics that'd be outright hilarious to see, but I've really enjoyed the origin-ish story of him here in the MCU. I love the tension of the episodes. Oscar Isaac's been brilliant in his way of switching between Marc and Steven. Definitely gives me some Elizabeth Olson vibes with her way of switching up in between "TV Eras" and all that.

Been some real fun stuff, though. Sucks there's only a few eps left, but i think giving it a short mini-series was a smart move. This and then leading up to Dr. Strange is gonna be some fun times ahead.
