It suffers from the episodes being too short. That's my only complaint because I was cackling for the whole ending sequence.

I loved the twist. Was cracking me up the whole time. I feel like the show made it clear from day 1 it wasn't going to get hung up on an over arching plot.

I thought it was fine for what the show has presented itself. There was no buildup to a single really bad villain. There wasn't a whole lot of non-legal adversity. It was a fun comedy. Finale worked.

I feel if they had removed all the fourth wall/KEVIN stuff and actually had her going after them through legal means (they could have even kept the "any and all means, legally" bit going throughout the whole episode), and then at the end she looked at the screen and said something like "I told you this was a legal show, not a super hero show." it would have gone so much better. And they could have not had her transform into She-Hulk for the entire final episode to really hit that point home.

But yeah, for a show that I've enjoyed a lot to this point, that was an incredibly disappointing ending.

The 4th wall exit strategy was a great idea. But not for the finale. It would have been better to implement it mid-season. This felt more like they just rendered more than half of the previous plot-lines pointless.

I thought it was hilarious. It's been a different show than all D+ shows by far, and it worked for it IMO. And it nailed the whole 'Marvel properties ending all samey' lmao. I had just had a conversation about this with a friend who was like "No it doesn't"


and then they practically confirm it. Great stuff. Am looking forward to what they do with her next. She's great with the role

It was weird, but it worked for this show. Everyone wanted some big over arching plot line, but that was never what this show was about. It's just a fun ride while she deals with being a hulk lawyer, and in the end, she chose to end the show as a lawyer rather than smashing everything like every other super hero does. We don't need to see the actual trial, dude was a scumbag and we all know he's guilty as fuck. We just needed to see how she wanted to handle it.

I dug the opening homage to 80s Hulk. After that it went way off the rails. Can you call it off the rails if you plan it that way? Eh, semantics. Regardless, the jokey retcon seemed like a neat idea but overstayed it’s welcome imo. Felt more like I was watching a YouTube channel doing a parody than Marvel parodying itself. It was different, that’s for damn sure. Don’t think I liked it very much though.

I wanted to like it but the 5 minutes of episode after GLADOS wasn't satisfying. Should have been a longer episode imo.

All the best episodes were the ones not about Jen, I leave this show wanting a Wong show and to re-watch s1 of daredevil

That was the absolute worst finale of a Disney+ MCU show yet.

Nobody gave a fuck about an overarching plot with the big boss battle at the end. We were all happy with the silly as shit but interesting legal cases each episode. Why the hell deviate from that for some dumb ass “hey look at us laugh at ourselves! Lulz” 4th wall break that lasts entirely too damn long? Like someone else said, the entire finale could’ve been done in a courtroom setting and most would’ve gladly enjoyed that.

Another case of writers smelling their own farts too damn much and doing shit to subvert expectations just for the sake of subverting expectations.

It wasn't what I was looking for in the finale, but I enjoyed the series the entire way, including the ending. It didn't have to meet expectations IMO, it's whole point was to be a bit different, which it definitely succeeded at. Part of me still yerns for the MCU connections to come through, like what will this lead to in the future, etc.
