Felt very much like Scott Pilgrim vs The World to me, you can totally see the influences. Thought it was an ok opener.

ehhhhhh
Wife said it was her favorite Marvel show since Wanda so far. I really like the Scott Pilgrim vibes as well and thought it did a pretty solid job getting the feel of the comics. I am curious to see how her powers really work though as I'm not sold on that part yet.
Curios enough to see what direction they take this show but will definitely concede that I am not the target audience for this show. Which is just fine.
I enjoyed the first episode. The acting is solid, and I liked that the first episode was devoted to introducing and developing Kamala and her relationships with those around her.
I hope the show keeps up the momentum of this first episode with its style and cinematography.
I loved it, but... was the audio really blurred for everyone else? We had a lot of trouble understanding a lot of the dialogue.
I had that as well. Opening scene with the cardboard cutouts was just right, but beyond that, anytime there were multiple characters, the vocal sound just didn't carry well.
GF and I loved the episode. No big bad reveal or buildup to deal with, just a wholesome origin story episode, with some great stylistic differences that set it apart from other shows. Looking forward to more.
Cinematography was cool as hell
Weird.
This show is great. There is just so much detail put into the characters, world building etc. This could be one of the best super hero origin stories from Marvel.
This episode was good. I am enjoying it more as it goes on.
Funny aside to them changing up her powers to assumingly not be quite so Mr. Fantastic-ly, I keep getting Spiderman vibes with how she's slinging the constructs around.
Loooooved the second episode compared to the first. I know this one is more geared toward a younger crowd and if I were in high school again this would probably be my favorite show.
Finally watched it. Very cool and relatable as a indian immigrant even though I'm not from a muslim family lol
Very interesting direction they are going with where she got her powers from.
I am still loving the show and I think its highly underrated.
Unfortunately, a sizeable portion of people are still of the opinion that brown people are bad. I'm really enjoying the different perspective they're providing.
Spoiler: show
Finally caught up with this and I think the show is a lot of fun. We’re definitely not the target age group, but the light hearted and more down to earth tone of the whole thing has definitely been refreshing. At least to me.
